For the second year in a row I designed a t-shirt for me and my cousins to celebrate the best party in Puerto Rico, “Las Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastian” [If you don’t know about this party click here]. And for being a five-minute-for-free design… I think it’s not that bad. The color is “Safety Green” and the font is VAL™ font. The little “devil” is not a “devil” is my version of a “vejigante“. This year design was by far more simple than last year, which was only possible to put on a t-shirt with giant cheap-inkjet-printed transfer paper that had the ability to cause hot-flashes on a 23-year-old.
But I learnt my lesson… and hopefully I’ll improve it every year. Maybe next year it’ll feature something about the end of the world and how you should party like’s the last time… ha ha!
The instructions were simple: First, go to Wikipedia and hit random and the first random article you get is the name of your band. Second, go to Quotationspage.com, hit random and the last four or five words of the last quote of the page is the title of your first album. Third, go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. Then use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.
Finally, the fifth step was to rebound my version from this image, but since I’m no Dribbbler, I’ll post some of theme here. I really enjoyed making them and I hope you like them!*All the pictures were randomly selected on Flickr, none of them are my property, so I’ll appropriately credit the author bellow each picture.*
